I’m sitting at the Grackle.

A bunch of dudes are sitting around the bar. We’re silently watching an anime with the sound turned off. The guy to my right is eating food from East Side King while his dog keeps touching my leg. Modest Mouse is playing on the sound system. Two guys across the bar are poking on an iPad. The owner of the local bike shop is sitting next to one of the leaders of the Austin Facial Hair club. I’m typing this on my iPhone before I hop on my single speed to ride to my alley-way house.

This is the most East Austin I’ve ever been in.
